Materials

-1” x 1” solid wood (adjust for your material dimensions as needed)

-wood glue

-sandpaper

Tools

-Shaper Origin

-1/8” endmill cutter with 1” length of cut

-milling tools (jointer, planer, etc.)

-Sander

Instructions

-There are many different cut paths close together in this project. Be sure to use the appropriate depth for each path. Negative Side: Divide depths appropriately to your material thickness (1” in this case). -1st path (dovetail shape) -1/2” deep -2nd path -3/4” deep -3rd path -1” depth Positive Side: -1st path (shoulder) -1/4” deep -2nd path (2nd shoulder) -1/2” deep -3rd path (dovetail) -1” deep
