Sun and Moon Engraving
An engraving of the sun and moon - can be used on it's own as an art piece or used to decorate other work. I've included the original adobe illustrator file if you'd like to make edits.

1/4" plywood (or really any flat surface you want to engrave)

Wire brush to clear dust from engraving
Finish of your choosing
Instructions
1. Use Origin to create a grid and place the file on your workpiece 2. Engrave for a long time Tips: 1. For smaller details position Origin over the whole detail and use auto mode. This works great for the stars and craters on the moon. 2. You may also want to add/remove detail depending on the scale of your work piece. As you may be able to tell from the original file vs. the photos of the final result I left out some of the original details. You can also use on-tool design to add details while working. Feel free to customize the design as you see fit! I could see this looking really cool with added color either by painting after engraving or filling the engraving with epoxy. You could even adapt this file to create an inlay if you want to get extra fancy.
