After some not so eventful trips to the local big box stores, I was unable to find an air return vent cover that I liked. I ended up drawing one up in Fusion 360 that fit my need inside my home. My air handler is in the attic, so this application was to be applied in my home. Maybe this will help some others with the same kind of setup.

Instructions

- Place workpiece down onto an adequate amount of two sided tape to avoid the workpiece moving - Using a 1/4" bit, start with the holes of the vent and work your way row by row through the workpiece (doing the holes first remediates the the chance of the workpiece slipping from it's original positioning) - Once all holes have been cut, cut the outside perimeter of the workpiece - Place countersink holes specifically for your application - Remove finished piece from workspace and sand / paint / stain as preferred
