Shaper Origin. Miter saw
lumber purchased from big box store, two boards, one 8 inches wide, the other 10 inches. This can be done with all one width board, my monitor base is 9 inches in diameter and I decided to have it overhang. I did all the main cuts on a miter saw: top: 10 x 24inches sides: 8 x 6inches Optional: add File holders to the side - same dimensions as the sides The SVG is sized for the top, I scaled it down and copied it to create the sides. if you use a grid you can align it exactly and overlap one row of the cuts so that patter appears more fluid. the triangle cuts on the file holder were designed on tool! cuts were done with a 1/4 upcut. 3 roughing passes at 1/4in increments at a .001 offset, with a final finishing pass at 0 offset. Glue up and enjoy. I plan to use this pattern on other projects let me know if you have any other ideas to use it on.
