(x1) 450 x 250mm, 18mm (3/4") plywood
(x4) 1/4"-20 T-nuts
(x4) 1/4"-20, 1-1/2" bolts with washers
*(x4) monitor bolts with washers (I used M4-0.7 x 30mm)
* NOTE - make sure to check the monitors manual for bolt length. It will indicate max length of bolt and then add no more than 18mm (plywood thickness). DO NOT exceed the max bolt length + plywood thickness as this may damage the monitor.
* Shaper Origin
* 1/8" router bit for monitor mounting holes
* 1/4" router bit for everything else
* Mallet to knock in t-nuts
* Hex keys for bolts
1. Place two copies of the French Cleat Mount and Mount Slide file on your work piece 2. Place one copy of the the Monitor Mount on your work piece 3. Start with 1/8" router bit and helix cut all VESA monitor mounting holes 4. Change to the 1/4" router bit and helix cut the holes and slots 5. Cut out all pieces 6. Assemble Mount Slides to Monitor Mount (use glue and/or pin nailer, If your using a nailer I would recommend pinning from the side of the Mount Slide inward to prevent the Monitor Mount from pulling away due to the weight of the monitor) 7. Use a mallet to hammer in the t-nuts to the OUTSIDE of the French Cleat Mounts 8. Insert 1/4"-20 bolts from the inside of the Mount Slides into the threaded t-nuts of the French Cleat Mount (x4) 9. Mount the assembly to the back of the monitor using the monitor bolts and washers 10. Hang monitor on french cleat. If you want to adjust the angle loosen the 1/4"-20 bolts slightly, position the monitor and re-tighten the bolts
