Instructions

I wanted a way to conceal the cord on a HomePod and came up with this simple stand. While I have mine on the floor, you can make these whatever height you want to fit your environment. This is a simple exterior cut on the stand base. I progressed 1/4" with each pass and a finishing cut to clean up the .02 offset I used. The dowel holes and the toy axle holes are stopped cuts and use offsets to fit the material I had. The toy axles are used on small wooden toys and available from Amazon or most woodworking supply stores. https://www.amazon.com/Wooden-Axle-Pegs-Hole-Wheel/dp/B01LYWEJJ9/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=toy+wooden+axle&qid=1605814226&sr=8-2 The rectangle cutout in the SVG allows the power cord to pass through the stand and then wrap around the toy axles. This is a thru- cut. I secured the power cord with a velcro strip though a zip tie or even a rubber band also works. Finish is sprayed lacquer with the dowels and axles glued in place.
