- A piece of solid material to act as the base. I used White Oak Measuring 18" x 1.75" x 1.25", but feel free to improvise. - Heat proof tubing to hold the candles. I used brass tubing with an ID of 0.375" and an OD of 0.5". This will need to be cut to length, I cut mine to 1.75". Measure your favorite candles and aim for a ID a bit smaller before ordering the brass. You may be able to find a metal reseller who will cut to length for a fee. - Wood Finish - Candles
- Shaper Origin - Shaper Workstation - Metal Cutting Saw (Optional) - Scotch-Brite - Very Fine
This project is designed using on tool CAD, so you can change the dimensions and make it your own. Mark the center of your base's narrow dimension, then use the grid tool to create a grid with the 0,0 point on either the middle left or the middle right hand side of your stock (Learn more about grid here: https://support.shapertools.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002904354-Creating-a-Grid). To figure out your grid spacing, divide the long dimension of your base by 12. To make sure everything is kosher, cut the Shamash holder taller (or shorter) than the rest. I cut the holes for the brass tubing to a depth of 0.875".
