Floor corner knot simple

1/4" thick contrasting inlay stock

Origin. 1/4" cutter

This project is only cutting the knotted corner detail, which is positioned at least 5" in from the edges. the corners are rounded to work with a 1/4" cutter cuts positive geometry. ( note they are designed for the strips to be 1" wide) Test cut the pocket 1/4" deep in similar material the final project will be performed in, design is line to line, so adjust the offset to get the friction fit you desire, start with a very small negative offset ( -0.002" ), test fit a positive piece each time you make an adjustment. Note: you will need to use traditional methods to perform the long straight inlayed pieces, be sure to confirm you get get tools in close enought to walls to complete the project before commencing.
