My wife wanted a cool trellis for one of our vine plants, and this is what I came up with. (note the V1...woot woot) She did all the cutting on it and loved it! Pretty unique item for our front yard. I put a 1/2 inch bit for a lot of the circles, then switched to 1/4 inch bit for the bigger holes. We trac-sawed the sides. I cut the spacers out afterwards with 1 inch ply using on-tool CAD. By cutting them to .95 depth, I could then easily pop them out with a screwdriver, but didn't have to worry about tape holding the tiny cuts to the MDF beneath it. I hit them with some white spray paint to keep the wood from getting all nasty over the years.
