A stand for a pair of over-the-ear headphones that includes a port under the left ear for charging. This is a great project to reuse a bunch of scrap MDF!

1. 14" x 6" used 1/2" MDF spoil board
2. 7" x 6" 1/2" baltic birch plywood
3. 6" x 6" 1/2" baltic birch plywood
1. PVA Glue (I used Titebond II)
2. Clear satin finish (I used a satin clear spray paint)
Raft: 1. Cut the pocket to 1/4" depth 2. Make the outside cut in two passes of 1/4" depth with 0.03" offset. Finish with a 0" offset. Head: 1. Make the outside cut in passes of 1/4" depth with 0.03" offset. Finish at full depth at 0" offset. Offset Head: 1. Make the outside cut in passes of 1/4" depth with 0.03" offset. Finish at full depth at 0" offset. Offset Head Flip: 1. Make the outside cut in passes of 1/4" depth with 0.03" offset. Finish at full depth at 0" offset. Assembly: 1. Insert the Head into the Raft using the built-in mortise and tenon using glue. 2. Apply the offset heads to either side using glue and clamp.
